A delegation of the organization consisting of Dr. Khaled Ataiwaan, H.E. Jamal Bin Ahmed Bin Shihab, Dr. Abdul S. Yamamah, Mr. Mohammed Al Badawi, and Mr. Mohammed Abdu Latif have visited Egypt on 5 /2 /1435H (6 /11/2013) in order to strengthen the role of the organization, and to introduce its activities, objectives, and statutes. Lawyers International Islamic Organization(LIIO) has held on Tuesday, 19/11/2013 (16/01/1435H) in Istanbul (Turkey) an international conference entitled "International Law and it’s Application to the Syrian Crisis" in which the Syrian crisis has been discussed from a judicial viewpoint, i.e. enforcement of the provisions of the international law on the ongoing events in Syria by looking at similar legal precedents, and by understanding and consolidating the international community stance in regard to the crisis. The conference was attended by a number of representatives of global bodies, dignitaries, public personalities, and a group of lawyers and international law experts. Lawyers International Islamic Organization, emanating from the Muslim World League, has denouncedthe repeated attempts at abusing the Islamic faith andthe ProphetMohammad, peace be upon him, and all Holy Messengers;peace be upon them. The Organization has adopted the formulation of an international draft charter to criminalize the defamation of religions, based on the recommendations of the conference on "the support of the oppressed in Burma," which was held on the third and fourth of this month in Istanbul, Turkey, under the supervision of Al Rasheed Media Company.
